Whats new in Pakistan Super League (PSL3)?
Pakistan Super League (PSL) is the Biggest Cricket Event of Pakistan. After a lot of efforts and hard work by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), it all started in 2016. Initially in the first edition, PSL matches were played in UAE with star players like Darren Sammy, Kumhar Sangakkara, Luke Wright. Many famous players from all over the world were the part of it. There were total of 5 teams in the tournament. It was huge achievement by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to conduct this very successful and colorful event in History of Pakistan cricket.
After this very successful 1st Edition, the craze and excitement of fans from all over the world have increased. Because Fans were desperately waited for the 2nd Edition of PSL. As per the wishes of the fans the PCB didn’t disappointed their fans and announce the much awaited news of 2nd Edition of PSL.
Teams in Pakistan Super League (PSL3):
The same 5 teams with new players from different countries were drafted in PSL 2 to make that PSL even better with trilling matches. The main or we can say that the pickup point of PSL 2 was the Final in Lahore (Pakistan) for the very first time. So many International players refused to came Pakistan for the final match due to security concerns. But then there were few international players, not only players but the Legends who supported Pakistan cricket and came Pakistan to play the Final match in Lahore in front of Cricket Loving Pakistani fans. These players have defied of the rumors of terrorism. Their great and very kind gestures again made PSL2 even successful event. After the successful Final, the star cricketers went back to their respective countries with sweet memories from Pakistan. It will In sha Allah remains in their hearts for very long time.
Now, The 3rd Edition of PSL is around the corner and cricketing fans and superstars are raring to go. Star cricketers from many Nations have been selected. This PSL3 is unique from the previous two events in many aspects.
Addition of new team, Multan Sultans:
For the very first time a new team from the City of Saints Multan Sultan has been included in this PSL3. A lot of International Players from different Countries are drafted and chosen by different franchises. Star players like JP Duminy, Angelo Mathews, Afghanistan’s young star and a leggy Rashid Khan. And none other than Australian Opening Batsman and very hard hitter of the ball Chris Lynn will be the part of PSL 3 for the first time and ready to show their class and skills to the World.
Pakistan Super League Venues:
This time the Tournament will be played in two different countries UAE and Pakistan. The league matches will be held in UAE and for the very first time The Playoffs will be played in Gaddafi Stadium Lahore and the decider of the tournament, the Final will be played in National stadium Karachi (Pakistan).
So by the inclusion of many International players, now all the Teams look so balanced and hard to beat. All the preparations are done now and the fans are desperately waiting to watch their stars. Surely their ideals in action in this PSL 3.
We as a true Cricket Fans wishes Every team to do their best, to make this PSL even better and successful like the previous ones. Because it will make Pakistan Cricket one step Up.
